Dequeue Styles & Scripts

Documentation>Development>Dequeue Styles & Scripts

If you are a developer and want to remove any styles or scripts built-in to Boosted Elements, you can do so by dequeueing them.  This maybe useful if your theme already enqueues a script like prettyPhoto. You can find a list of enqueued scripts/styles under the “boosted-elements.php” file.

Example:

/**
* Enqueue or de-enqueue third party plugin scripts/styles
*/
function custom_name_dequeue_styles_scripts() {
     wp_deregister_style( 'boosted-elements-progression-frontend-styles' ); //Removing a style
     wp_deregister_script( 'boosted_elements_progression_prettyphoto_js' ); //Removing a script
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'custom_name_dequeue_styles_scripts', 100 );
